When doing FtM-drag (female to male) and becoming a drag king, I believe that traditional ideas about men and masculinity are always challenged. I think that both the perfect drag and the non-perfect drag have a subversive potential; I don't think it matters if the woman in drag looks "exactly" like a man or not. To me, the most important aspect of doing a drag is that performing masculinity reveals the fact that gender is a performative act (something that is created, not "natural"). These images show me doing drag as Lemmy, the singer in the rock band Motörhead.
